Question: Is Play really that IMPORTANT?

The answer is “Yes it is!” Play is the essence of how neurotypical children develop skills and learn. For example, children can learn the following skills in play:

1) Creativity
2) Imagination
3) Problem-Solving & Trouble Shooting
4) Independence
5) Social Skills – Turn taking, sharing, tolerating other children’s ideas, teaching others how to play etc.

Children benefit physically, mentally and emotionally from play and that is why at EAP Malaysia, play is such a priority for our children.

Over the next month, we will be covering different areas and stages of play. At EAP Malaysia, we teach our children Toy Play, Interactive Play, Pretend Play, Preschool Games, Sport, and Peer Play. All these stages are broken down and taught in an individualized manner for each child.

We hope these articles will be beneficial for you and please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone at 03-2094 0421 or via email at info@autismmalaysia.com.

All the best!
